2.5 stars out of 5Very strange. I thought I would really like Annabel Joseph's books. I love authors that are similar to her in style especially Remittance Girl and Kitty Thomas. I really tried to think of why I don't do well with Joseph's books, but I just don't. I put off this review so I could think about it but nothing is coming to me. I think I would enjoy her books if I had nothing to compare them to, but I do. I'm not saying anything is wrong with the books, in fact I liked them (thus the almost three stars). All I'm saying is I prefer other authors.
