An interesting way I rate a novel is how often I can set the novel down. Simply put, if I can stop reading the book without any stress to my well-being, I’m not that into the book. With Bonded by Blood, I was able to set the book down, and not even think about it for days. It was not that the book was bad; it just was not anything new or exciting. I “liked” it. I “enjoyed” it, I just did not think about it beyond the time I was actually reading it. In fact, it is hard for me to remember the story and I just read it.Maybe I’ve read too many paranormal romance books and my opinion is jaded. I don’t know. At this point, it takes a lot to wow me when it comes to PR and this one (even though it was good) didn’t WOW me.
