This is a hard review for me. I enjoyed the book but it seemed not designed for me. I think teen boys will love it and I don't want anyone to think the story is not good, because it is. However, I had small issues with it but I think they are my own issues and not the fault of the author. Some of my issues- When Alex is talking about Flip's school, (now remember Alex is now Flip so he is seeing everything through Flip's eyes) he comments how Flip's school has hardly any students other than white students and in the same breathe (meaning the same paragraph), he also talks about how safe and secure the school is. To me, that was stupid of the author. Even if that wasn't the author's intentions, bringing up race of students and the safety of the school in the same paragraph is just irresponsible . I do think teen boys will like it and it was a fun, easy read.
